Professions of Faith
13 people made a profession of faith in Christ this 3rd Quarter which includes 2 aboriginal people who heard the Gospel message I preached in Zhongfu Baptist Church, Guanshan, Taitung City. After my sermon, the pastor gave a salvation invitation and these two boldly stepped forward to trust Christ. To God be the glory!
Baptismal Service
Brother Jonathan, is an engineer at a factory nearby. He was brought to church by another Christian. He heard the Gospel and trusted Christ, underwent regular Bible studies, then decided to follow the Lord in water baptism last July 14. But few months after he was baptized, he already went back to the Philippines for good due to family a problem. Please pray for him that he will keep seeking the Lord.
Family Trial
After arriving in Taiwan in July from a two-month furlough, our family underwent long months of physical trial. My youngest son, Ezra, was admitted to the hospital 2 times in a month—first was on August 1-6, then on August 22-31, both due to pneumonia. Then on September 5-11, our second son, Enzo, was also admitted due to the same viral-caused pneumonia. Those two months were really challenging but the Lord’s grace was sufficient throughout our ordeal. Thank God for His healing.
Soul -Winning Training
These men and women of our church are now able to share the Gospel after having undergone several weeks of training on evangelism. Thank God for their willingness to learn and be used by God to spread the Good News.
Training Men To Preach
Thanking God for His power to save and transform sinners. These men are as young as 1 to 2 years since they’ve trusted Christ and got baptized. They are now being used by God to lead church services like singing, also teaching at Sunday Schools and preaching sermons. This is a divine work! Praises be to our Savior!
Ministering To South African Teachers
These South African teachers grew up in a Pentecostal background. When I first met them, they thought that salvation could be earned by good works. But through our regular weekly Bible study with them, they can now confidently say that salvation is only through faith in Christ apart from good works. Please pray that they will totally leave Pentecostalism and follow Biblical teachings.
Worship Service At the Public Park
God is blessing our ministry with the homeless at the park by giving excitement to the regular attendees and by bringing new ones every time we meet. It’s a great sight to see these Buddhists hearing the Gospel and making professions of faith to the only Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. We have already started involving them in our singing time using hymns in Chinese making it into a short worship service.
