Dear Our Faithful Partners In Christ,
First at all, our family would like to greet you all in our mighty Lord Jesus Christ. We would like to let you know that our Lord Jesus Christ is working on our ministries. We are so thankful for His goodness, grace and mercy on the way of our life. Even though there are many challenges and persecutions from the authority in our place when we are serving here in this country. We would like to share you all the news happened in the ministry of Saigon Faith Baptist Church in the first quarter.
Here are BLESSINGS in the Lord’s work for 1st quarter:
The past three months, even though we are facing very difficult time we would like to say thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ who saved lost souls into our ministry. There are 10 precious souls to be saved and there are 3 baptism at our SFBC and 5 baptism at our mission works. Please pray for their growing faith.
We thank God for our Saigon Faith Baptist College with faithful Bible students. This ministry is always a blessing for us and the students. We are challenging to train men for God’s work in local areas. We have a burden for this Bible School because we would like to produce pastors and workers for His works in provinces. We are pray that there will be strong Independent Baptist Churches and more Baptist Churches establish in next few more years. Thank God that we have three new Bible Students just enrolled in our Bible College in this year.
We thank God so very much for our Children Outreach and Saigon Redemption School. God presently gives us a good number of children who attend the Bible Classes regularly. God bless us with this ministry so that we can have contact with the children and their parents then share the Gospel to them.
We are thankful the Lord for His grace and mercy on our family and ministries. Even though many challenges, difficulties and persecutios are happened along in the ministries, but our God is good to protects our family and our Church members during our Sunday services.
We are thankful the Lord for things happened in our ministries so that we can depend on Him more. We thank God for those listening to the gospel our the Lord.
Praises the Lord! Our New Missions Work at Son Ha, Khanh Son, Phuoc Thanh and Dalak are facing difficulties but they are progressing in the Lord’s works with souls got saved and be baptized.
Things we would like to ask for YOUR PRAYERS in our ministries:
Recently I have a meeting with the local authority regarding our Church permit. They asked us to close our Church services and outreach children and all others activities while waiting for the their approval. They gave me many requirements to get Church permit. One of requirements is a house pink book and fire prevention system and we haven’t apply to get them yet. I am applying these paperwork, it may take a few months to have it and costly. After we have these paperwork then we will submit to require for Church permit. Even they ask us to close all the ministries but I told them I can not do it because we have to obey our God and worship Him and also we had the services here in this Church for years. According to the new law they may come to our Church to fine us with 1,800$ and close our Church. Please pray special for us that the Lord Jesus Christ will protects our famiy and the Church members.
– Please pray special for our mission work in Phuoc Thanh, Ninh Thuan province is under pesecutions from the local authrority. They invited the pastor came to the police station and asked him to close all the activities and Sunday services.
– Please pray for more Bible School teachers to teach for the Saigon Faith Baptist College.
– Pray also for our pastors and workers in mission work in Sai Gon, Ninh Thuan, Nha Trang, Dong Nai, Binh Thuan, Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Quang Ngai provinces. They need our intercession to continue and faithfully do God’s works. Pray for their overcome this challenging situation.
– Please do pray for more souls to be saved and baptized and the growth of faith of our new converts.
– Please do pray for our Church planning to open the new missions work in Nha Trang City.
– Please pray God’s protection for our Church, Children Outreach, Saigon Redemption School, Bible College.
– Also pray for my wife and my health as we both have sickness and pray for the wisdom to serve Him.
– In this uncertain time, pray for people’s heart and service. Our family needs your prayer for God’s grace and power to do His work here. There are many challenges in our country.
Pastor and Church, Once again thank you so very much for your partnership and intercession for our ministries in Vietnam. We really appreciate your sacrifices in giving and your prayers.
