10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Ephesians 6:10-18 (KJV)

The strength of the Lord

Everything visible and physical is preceded by that which is invisible and spiritual. Heavenly places means the spiritual realm.

The armor of God

  • Truth (Ephesians 6:14)
  • Righteousness (Ephesians 6:14)
  • Peace (Ephesians 6:15)
  • Faith (Ephesians 6:16)
  • Helmet of Salvation (Ephesians 6:17)
  • Sword of the Spirit Which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:17)

Put on Christ (Romans 13:14)
Jesus is the full armor of God. You put on Christ, you become centered in Him.

Centered in God’s son. (Romans 13:14)
He is the:

  • The revelation of God
  • The manifestation of God
  • The power of God

Prayer

Prayer is a relational communication with God.

  • Pray without ceasing. (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
  • Prayer in the Spirit. (Ephesians 6:18)
    The role of the spirit is to deliver the mind of God. (1 Corinthians 2:9-10) The realm of the spirit is a spiritual mindset. (Romans 8:1-13) The mind is your thought. He wants you to think spiritually, not secularly. He wants you to think Biblically, not worldly. He wants you to think the mind of Christ, not the mind of man.
  • Walk in the Spirit. (Galatians 5:16)
    The flesh is the desire to please self independently of God. Now you can walk, you should walk on some power, undergirding, strength, and with the mind of the Spirit.

God can change your perspective in the midst of your evil day.
